We are excited to add a Director of Perishable Operations to our dedicated team! This is a full time, on-site position, based in Plainview, NY. This key leadership opportunity will be instrumental in shaping the way forward in our growth environment with a focus on decision making and goal achievement. Our new team member needs to be a self-starter with a passion for developing and leading others while demonstrating diplomacy and tact.

In addition to strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, the ideal candidate must demonstrate :

• An ability to organize, motivate and affect the actions of others to get results,
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the perishable departments, ensuring alignment with overall business goals,
• A history of successfully leveraging data to conduct forecast analysis to drive decision-making,
• A strong financial aptitude,
• Be self-starting with organization skills to balance workload, and conflicting priorities,
• The ability to lead and develop others that provides consistency across the organization
• A drive to think outside the box and work through challenges and achieve despite obstacles,
• The ability to stay ahead of industry trends and consumer preferences, bringing innovative solutions and product offerings to our customers, and
• Efficiency with resources, and passion toward profitability.
