Key Responsibilities:
The Accounts Payable Manager position at Shore is primarily responsible for managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers, with job duties to include, but not limited to the following:
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all accounts payable, including vendor payments
- Track all paid invoices in company ERP system (eAutomate)
- Tracking of all credit card charges and reconciliation of credit card and bank statements.
- Tracking and properly allocating all company expenses
- Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry.
- Entry of payroll expenses, travel reimbursements, commissions and bonuses into payroll system on a biweekly basis
- Work with CPA & President on tax preparation and payments
- Running and analyzing Profit & Loss statements on a regular basis
- Working with Executive Management to ensure consistent cash flow and profitability of company
- Attention to detail and analysis of monthly Profit & Loss statements with ability to identify changing conditions and proactively alert management with recommendations.
- Thoroughness throughout the payment process. Follow up and confirm that payments are received and processed by vendors
Required Skills:
- Highly Dependable/Punctual
- Microsoft Office Experience and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Experience using an ERP System, eAutomate preferred
- Experience using basic office equipment (printer/copier/scanner)
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Critical thinking skills are a must
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
- Strong time management skills
- 5 years experience in an Accounts Payable/Bookkeeping role
- Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Preferred Skills:
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Previous a/p experience in the Office Technology/IT Industry
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting a related field preferred
