Are you a Dental Assistant with endodontic assisting experience? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a travel dental assistant supporting our practices in Englewood and Venice, Florida!
Tarpon Shores Dental is part of small emerging DSO committed to delivering the highest standards of dental care to the Englewood and Venice communities. Our collaborative team is dedicated to building long-term relationships for the delivery of excellent patient care experiences.
The ideal candidate should have between 1-3 years of DA experience that includes endodontic assisting.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Clean and prepare operatory rooms.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
- Assist with hygiene, as needed.
- Taking dental radiographs (if licensed).
- Taking patient medical history, blood pressure and pulses.
- Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocols and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
- Entering patient information into charting system.
- Handling reception / seating / and dismissal of patients.
