Tarpon Shores Dental, located in beautiful Venice, Florida is part of small emerging DSO committed to delivering the highest standards of dental care to the Venice community.
Our collaborative team is dedicated to building long-term relationships for the delivery of excellent patient care experiences.
We are currently looking for a Temporary Dental Assistant t o work in our practice from March 10, 2025, through June 20, 2025. The ideal candidate should have between 1-3 years of DA experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Clean and prepare operatory rooms.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
- Assist with hygiene, as needed.
- Taking dental radiographs (if licensed).
- Taking patient medical history, blood pressure and pulses.
- Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocols and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
- Entering patient information into charting system.
- Handling reception / seating / and dismissal of patients.
