Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks. The Office Administrator will support both clerical and human resources functions, contributing to a positive work environment.
Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Manage payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records.
- Review invoices and prepare checks for Accounts Payable
- Assist in payroll preparation on a bi-weekly basis
- Provide clerical support, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Handle phone systems with professionalism, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
- Assist in human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
- Plan and coordinate office events, meetings, and team-building activities.
- Support team management by facilitating communication between departments and staff.
- Maintain medical office management protocols if applicable, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office administration role or similar position.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and basic accounting principles is preferred.
- Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of medical office management practices is advantageous but not required.
