We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions.
- Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring all questions are answered with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Handle phone calls with proper etiquette, assisting callers with reservations or inquiries.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing waitlists and reservations effectively.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Excellent guest relations abilities, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons.
- Background in food service or restaurant environments is advantageous.
- Proficient phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant setting.
