Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Manager on Duty/Lead Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- On MOD Shifts running all aspects of the restaurant Front of House
- Lead Bartender shifts leading the bar team
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
- Assist in setting up for events or banquets as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation.
- Experience in banquet service is a plus.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques is desirable.
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent cash handling abilities to manage transactions effectively.
- Background in the food industry or food service is preferred.
