Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Manager on Duty/Lead Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities
- 2 days a week act as the "Manager on Duty" managing all aspects of the restaurant.
- 2 days a week act as "Lead Bartender" leading the bar team on bar shifts.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process orders and payments.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction with their drinks.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Uphold high standards of food handling and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bartender in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation techniques, and beverage trends.
- Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems; basic math skills are essential for handling transactions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- A background in hospitality or food service is advantageous; food handling certification is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
