What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Grounds Crew Member position at Shorewood School District?
The Shorewood School District is hiring part time, seasonal staff to fill positions in our grounds maintenance department. Candidates must have a great attitude and be willing to work outdoors under minimal supervision. Crew members will report directly to the district Lead Groundskeeper. Position start/end dates are flexible and dependent upon candidate availability and district needs. Summer crew positions start June 12th and end August 14th. Applicants must commit to a summer of employment as negotiated upon hire.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Grounds crew members are responsible for general grounds maintenance. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Mowing and trimming
- Planting and watering flower beds
- Picking up trash
- Maintenance of athletic fields
