What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Shot&Bottle?
Bartender
Preferred: at least 2 years of bartending experience; must have serving experience
Must be personable, friendly, and calm in high tension situations
Responsible for creating a consistently exceptional experience for every guest dining with us
Expected to create a standard of service that provides an example for all other front of house employees
Will follow exact recipes for existing house and classic cocktails
- Responsible for greeting all guests at the bar in a timely fashion, and to communicate while working on orders for other guests
- Must give silverware and side plates to everyone ordering food
- Set up bar with mixers and garnishes
- Cover any duties of barback or runner/busser when necessary
- Responsible for cleaning as you go and putting things back in order throughout the entire shift/ Maintaining a clean and efficient bar
- At the end of shift, break down and clean bar completely
*****Other duties include, but not limited to:
Restocking the fridge with wine, back up syrups, back up garnishes
Restocking bottles behind the bar
Restocking all dry storage behind bar (straws, bev naps, napkins, picks, etc.)
Restocking fruit, garnishes, and herbs behind the bar
Replenishing dehydrated fruit
Filling large ice cube trays in freezer
Quick rinse of the tap drain before the end of the night; wiping down and plugging taps
Completing other daily and weekly side work
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
