Summary of Position
Responsible for directing, coordinating, supervising, and managing all aspects of the Hotel and Waterpark's food and beverage operations which includes the restaurants, bars, banquets, room service, kitchens, and other outlets, while maintaining high quality products and services.

Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to think strategically about all aspects of F&B operations; to include team member engagement, scheduling, overall guest service, steps of service, food and beverage quality & presentation, menu creation, pricing, and profitability.
- Must have exceptional guest service and positive team member engagement. Use strong written and oral communication skills to achieve those goals.
- Understands financials and customer volume data to schedule efficiently, putting the right person in the right place at the right time without overspending on labor cost.
- Coordinates with Finance and upper management to proactively track food and labor costs - makes recommendations as to how we can continuously improve.
- Must be creative with menu design, taking into consideration guest preferences, high quality food, while also understanding food presentation / cost and profitability.
- Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette service standards.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and communicate in English to adequately perform the duties of the job.
- Must be detail-oriented in reviewing final food products and general management of the Food and Beverage operation.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying inquiries made by guests, staff and corporate officers.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate daily workload.
- Must be energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
- Ability to make sound, common sense decisions based on independent judgement and established policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform / attire and nametag.
- Comply with company, hotel and brand standards of attendance and punctuality and must be able to work varying schedules that include evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
