Shower Glass is a growing custom shower glass company known for high-quality craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. We're expanding and looking for a Production Manager to help streamline our operations and support our field teams with the resources they need to deliver exceptional installs.
Job Summary:
As the Production Manager, you’ll play a vital role in our day-to-day operations. You’ll manage everything behind the scenes—from warehouse inventory to material orders to scheduling crews and ensuring our paperwork is accurate and complete. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including cleanliness, organization, and inventory control
- Receive shipments and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for glass, hardware, and other supplies
- Schedule installation crews and coordinate job timelines
- Handle project paperwork: work orders, purchase orders, delivery slips, and job checklists
- Collaborate with the sales and install teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Track production timelines and adjust schedules based on job changes or delays
- Help implement process improvements to increase efficiency
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in production, operations, or warehouse management (construction or glass industry a plus)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with inventory systems and scheduling tools
- Basic understanding of construction or installation workflows
- Proficient with spreadsheets, email, and basic office software
- Forklift certification a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
