There's no typo in the job description. We're looking for a highly-skilled marketing, public relations and communication guru / wizard / marvel who can bring a wide range of talents, skills and energy to our firm's Strategy team. It feels like the right candidate will love writing, strategic thinking and be great at production / publication in the Adobe Creative Suite with strong skills in InDesign, at a minimum.
The ability to juggle and wear a lot of different hats for the firm will be a plus, too. You may be coordinating, writing and laying out a proposal in the morning, managing a job site photoshoot with an architect at lunch, and coordinating an interview in the afternoon. We would love to understand your thoughts and approach to earned media vs. owned media and ideas you have for rethinking our approach to public relations. Ultimately, No two days are alike for our team and we like it that way.
We are at our best when we're connecting with others in the firm and guiding initiatives, so leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and charisma will launch the right candidate to the top of the list. Active, lifelong learning is a core SHP value, so finding someone who eagerly dives into emerging technology and ideas is a plus.
The Details
SHP has five offices in four states and we would love for this team member to be working collaboratively, in-person at one of those locations - with preference for our larger offices in Cincinnati or Columbus.

Compensation
This is a full-time 40 hours / week position, with a full suite of benefits, including paid vacation; paid holidays; paid sick / mental health days; medical, dental, vision and life insurance; health savings account with company contribution; 401(k) with company contribution; performance bonus; and other ancillary benefits. Competitive salary commensurate with experience can be expected.
