The Chief of Staff (CoS) at SHR Consulting Group serves as a strategic advisor and operational leader, directly supporting the C-suite in executing the company's vision and ensuring effective organizational functioning. This role includes overseeing strategic initiatives, optimizing internal processes, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. The CoS plays a critical role in managing key projects, enhancing operational efficiency, and facilitating decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Support
Partner with the executive team to drive strategic business initiatives from inception through execution.
Provide data analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Act as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, particularly on high-level strategic decisions.
Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day operations in coordination with senior managers, ensuring that departments are aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Improve processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, productivity, and collaboration.
Prioritize tasks, and coordinate strategic meetings and events.
Lead and oversee program transitions for awarded contracts.
Communication and Liaison
Serve as a liaison between the executive team, senior leaders, and employees to ensure clear and consistent communication.
Represent the executive team in meetings and communications as needed.
Foster a collaborative environment by addressing communication gaps within the organization.
Lead SHR's CSG efforts to support the acceleration of customer missions
Project and Initiative Management
Lead cross-functional initiatives, drive special projects, and oversee the implementation of key programs.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the organization's innovation efforts.
Team and Organizational Development
Evaluate and provide input on improving organizational structures.
Provide input on employee development and engagement.
Executive Support
Act as a gatekeeper, managing issues that require the executive's attention and acting on their behalf when appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality and provide a sounding board for sensitive topics.
Qualifications
Education : Master's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 10 years in a managerial role, with experience in strategic planning, project management, and operations.
Skills : Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and financial management.
Certifications : Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred.
