We have an opportunity for a Health Information Management (HIM) Clerk.ResponsibilitiesThe Health Information Management Clerk performs various HIM functions and responsibilities including processing information for the Medical Home initiative, retrieving records from all treatment areas, prepping and scanning medical records into the electronic medical record (EMR).QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or GEDExperienceOne year healthcare experience in medical records processing operation, physician office, business office and / or customer serviceAmerican Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) credentialed, preferredRegistered Health Information Technician (RHIT) through AHIMA, preferredShriners Children's offers a competitive salary and benefit package, including continuing education and professional development opportunities.
