Role Description
The Franchise Operations Specialist at Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar is a key member of the team, responsible for supporting our franchisees in achieving operational excellence and maintaining brand consistency across all locations. This role serves as a bridge between the corporate team and franchise partners, ensuring the successful implementation of operational strategies, adherence to brand standards, and the delivery of an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, passionate about hospitality, and driven to foster strong relationships with franchise partners. With a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on support, the Franchise Operations Specialist plays a critical role in the growth and success of the Shuckin' Shack brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Franchise Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for franchisees, providing guidance, resources, and solutions to optimize restaurant operations.
- Brand Compliance: Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure adherence to Shuckin' Shack's brand standards, quality guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Performance Improvement: Analyze franchise performance metrics and collaborate with franchisees to develop actionable plans for improvement in areas such as guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
- Training and Development: Support franchisees and their teams by delivering training programs on best practices, new initiatives, and operational tools.
- New Location Launches: Partner with the corporate team to assist with the onboarding and operational setup of new franchise locations, ensuring smooth and successful openings.
- Menu and Product Innovation: Provide feedback on menu performance and coordinate the implementation of new products or menu changes across franchise locations.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational challenges in partnership with franchisees, maintaining a solutions-focused approach.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between corporate leadership and franchisees, sharing updates, initiatives, and best practices to strengthen the franchise network.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in franchise operations or multi-unit restaurant management, preferably within a full-service or casual dining concept.
- Strong knowledge of the franchisor - franchisee relationship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence franchise partners.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on operational excellence and guest experience.
- Willingness to travel regularly and work flexible hours to support franchise locations.
- Proficiency in analyzing performance data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
