Summary:
This completely onsite position is responsible for: Configuring, maintaining, and deploying firm computers. Will troubleshoot and affect repair on all firm printers and scanners. Provide on-site, telephone and remote support to all firm employees. Will maintain inventory of all computer systems including sign-out equipment. Bending, stooping or crawling required when installing, maintaining or affecting repairs to computer systems. Lifting 40 pounds frequently when working with computers or related technology equipment including all peripherals.

Job Classification:
Reports and is responsible to the Training and Helpdesk Manager.
Essential Duties:
- Onsite helpdesk support to the local office professionals and staff.
- Remote helpdesk support to other offices.
- Support all technical support teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Act as a resource and/or mentor for Level 1 Support Technicians on difficult tickets.
- Work to improve Helpdesk processes and efficiencies.
- Should be an expert in Microsoft Office 365, specifically with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Windows 11.
- Maintain and manage repairs of computer equipment including peripherals.
- Inventory all technology equipment.
- Build and deploy computers.
- Create, remove and modify user accounts.
- Setup, train and maintain firm dictation and transcription equipment.
- Phones – minimal amount of programming required. Maintain spare inventory. Work with vendor on hardware fix.
- Mobile Device Support – Provide support to mobile device users.
- Record and track all support activity in IT support software.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform other related duties as directed or assigned.
- Assist professionals with personal mobile devices or printing problems whether onsite or remote.
- Handle conference room equipment setup and teardown.
- Travel to other offices when needed.
- Assist with AV at seminars on- or offsite.
- Handle after hours support in an on-call rotation.
- Assist with afterhours projects, troubleshooting or repairs on equipment.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Candidates should have a minimum of an associate’s degree in technology related field.
- Minimum of two years IT related support experience in a law or professional services firm.
- Excellent communications, both verbal and written. Excellent “people” skills. Problem solving abilities. Ability to maintain composure under pressure and exemplify high levels of patience. Display a high level of professionalism in both conduct and appearance.
- Working knowledge of Document Management Systems.
- Familiar with basic project management concepts.
Physical Requirements:
- Bending, stooping or crawling required when installing, maintaining or affecting repairs to computer system.
- Standing or walking frequently to provide user support.
- Requires occasional lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals.
