As a Litigation Attorney you will engage in sophisticated and challenging litigation work for clients in Ohio and nationwide. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of complex commercial litigation experience, with extensive brief writing preferred. This position will be responsible for litigating sophisticated commercial litigation, counseling clients, developing and implementing legal strategies, discovery practice, drafting briefs on complex and exciting issues, negotiating settlements, and when necessary, trial work.

This position will sit in person in our Akron, Ohio office.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Valid Ohio bar license
- Minimum 4 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong technological skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems, portals and technologies
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the Internet
- Superior organizational skills
- Project management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting position static for up to one-half hour at a time
- Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to one hour per day
- Bending and stooping occasionally, up to one-half hour per day
