What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Back position at Shunk Gulley?
Gallion’s Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge is an upscale yet approachable dining destination in Rosemary Beach, featuring an extensive wine list, rare and allocated spirits, and a craft cocktail-driven bar. We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Bar Back to support our bartenders and ensure a seamless bar operation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist bartenders in maintaining a well-stocked, clean, and organized bar.
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, and mixers throughout service.
- Ensure garnishes, juices, and syrups are prepped and replenished as needed.
- Maintain clean glassware by running and restocking as needed.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized, including wiping surfaces, taking out trash, and handling recycling.
- Assist with keg changes and ensuring all bar stations are fully stocked.
- Support bartenders in delivering an efficient, high-quality guest experience.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold restaurant standards.
- Must have evening availability Thursday–Saturday.
- Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous bar back or restaurant experience is a plus but not required.
