As a hands-on Engineering Manager, you will manage a focused group of professionals within the larger team, contributing to the overall success of our quality engineering initiatives. Your expertise in test engineering and commitment to excellence will ensure our products sound incredible and look picture-perfect, driving high-performance results. You'll also lead and develop a team of engineers in our brand new Unified Communications lab!
This role will be on-site with flexibility (4 days on-site / 1 day remote) at our Skokie, IL location.
Responsibilities
Essential Skills for Success in this Role :
- Unified Communications Experience : Demonstrated experience and expertise in Unified Communications, specifically with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms. Your in-depth knowledge of these platforms will be crucial in ensuring our testing strategies and processes are aligned with the unique challenges and requirements of UC environments.
- Passion for Quality Excellence : We need someone who has an unwavering dedication to delivering top-notch products. If you thrive on the relentless pursuit of uncovering customer-impacting defects and take pride in your attention to detail, this is the perfect role for you.
- Outstanding Communication Skills : Clear and accurate communication is the cornerstone of successful product development. If you excel in both written and oral communication and can articulate defects and product behavior with clarity and precision to your team, you will be instrumental in our verification process.
- Self-Driven and Motivated : Imagine a role where your self-motivation and drive are not just appreciated, but essential. As a System Verification Manager, you will take charge from reviewing requirements to delivering the finished product, all with minimal supervision.
