Overview
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Regional Sales Manager - North directs all field sales activities within the respective sales region. This position recommends staffing and supervises training for field sales personnel; manages the regional sales force to meet or exceed company objectives as well as make recommendations regarding sales policies, pricing, sales quotas, territories, distribution, and compensation; develops short-term and long-term regional sales objectives and assists in developing sales forecast data.
This position may be located anywhere in the Northeast US.
Responsibilities

Supervise the regional sales organization
- Ensure the Sales Team meets sales objectives (profitability, expense control, revenue, product mix)
- Generate sales estimates and quotations
- Coordinate procedures for soliciting, bidding, and execution of contract sales
- Perform market research and planning
- Assist in trade show selection and workforce requirements
- Perform oral and written presentation as needed
- Assist in new sales hires training
- Conduct performance reviews on direct reports
