A bit about the role:
· We only work 3-4 days a week! Our facilities operate four different 12-hour shifts. Currently, we are looking to fill positions on the following shifts.
· 2nd Shift: Mon – Wed ( every other Thurs during peak season), 4pm – 4am ( $1/hr shift diff.)
· 4th Shift: Fri – Sun ( every other Thurs during peak season), 4pm – 4am ( $2/hr shift diff)

What You’ll Do Here:
- Expertly manage a variety of advanced equipment including but not limited to digital presses, HP Indigo (certified preferred), HP Web Press T-485, HP 100K
- Conduct comprehensive routine and preventive maintenance, including intricate troubleshooting to uphold the highest quality standards and ensure equipment is always in optimal working condition.
- Identify and make necessary adjustments, escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel when required.
- Effectively interact with supervisors, technical support, and other team members to ensure seamless operations and swift resolution of issues.
- Provide technical support, perform pit stops, and carry out preventative maintenance unassisted.
- Provide training and mentorship to Machine Operators to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Escalate critical equipment issues and collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop solutions.
- Operate bindery, finishing, and other production equipment, and fill in for Lead Operators as needed.
- Strictly adhere to safety and OSHA standards, maintaining confidentiality and complying with the company’s security policies concerning sensitive information.
The Skills You'll Bring:
- 5 years of experience or equivalent experience operating high-speed machinery in high-volume, repetitive manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of digital printing and bindery processes, and a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the machinery used.
- Expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues with minimal downtime. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment issues as well as perform and document routine preventative maintenance unassisted.
- Experience with principles of pneumatics, mechanical systems and Lock Out Tag Out.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical, procedure-oriented approach to tasks and affinity for quality control purposes.
- Quality-minded and customer-focused to ensure the production of high-quality products. Ability to match or detect subtle differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and maintain mobility to crouch, kneel, reach, bend, and perform repetitive actions with hands and arms. Willingness and ability to work across various Production Departments on the Manufacturing floor as business needs dictate.
- Proficiency in operating bindery and finishing equipment (including Muller Martini) and digital print/press equipment (including HP Indigo).
