This role will focus onsupporting Shutterfly’s Operations Finance for labor in financial planning and analysis.

Other Focus Areas Include

  • Operations Finance labor management and supporting annual budget/strategic planning
  • Drive Operations Finance initiatives including P&L reporting and management analytics
  • Provide stakeholders and leadership status updates of Operations Finance initiatives, including new opportunities and potential risks
  • Help identify and drive cost and efficiency initiatives
  • Develop and track KPIs utilizing tools and technology

The Operations Finance labor role will require a high-energy, detail-oriented individual, adept at working through large data sets, structuring analyses, budgeting/ forecasting, clarifying results, and effectively communicating key takeaways. The role will partner with our key business partners including senior Finance and Operations executives, supporting business decisions, budgeting, providing weekly labor reporting, and helping drive in-flight initiatives.

What You'll Do Here

  • Manage regular budgeting/ forecasting for operations labor and detail actual vs. forecasted results
  • Partner with senior business leadership to continue to provide relevant KPIs and improve the framework for ongoing reporting and analysis
  • Support financial planningand financial reporting in order to assist and influence senior leadership with financial analysis
  • Ad-hoc business case analysis to support business leadership decisions
  • Develop reporting packages and dashboards for financial and business review meetings that succinctly summarize key insights
  • Cross-functionally work with Accounting, Central FP&A, and Operations to provide deeper P&L understanding / management to senior business leaders

The Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years relevant experience, ideally within financial planning and analysis at medium to large size companies, public or private
  • Systems savvy, ideally with experience implementing or overseeing financial planning and reporting tools
  • Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
  • Adaptable to changes and agile with execution
  • Strong results orientation and bias for action across the finance organization
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical skills
  • Experience with Oracle/SAP and Hyperion/EPM a plus
