Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Functional Role

• Ensures EHS compliance and continuous improvement in EHS performance
• Ensures department goals are aligned with site business imperatives
• Implement and monitor budget plans following a zero-based approach
• Manages the daily achievement of planned production volume
• Ensures quality standards are consistently achieved and improved
• Ensure asset care processes and procedures for Production are effectively executed; collaborates with Maintenance and Plant Technical Services to proactively identify opportunities to optimize asset reliability
• Ensures inventory of Production supplies is adequate and restocks happen as needed to maintain Production output while controlling costs
• Drives execution of the production schedule to optimize production line usage, preventive maintenance activities, and workforce effectiveness
• Collaborates daily with production coordinators to optimize workforce and production performance
• Owns and implements operational best practices to efficiently manage cost controls e.g. unplanned production downtime/delays and employee overtime
• Consistently assess and evaluate adherence to standard work models and processes
• Manages the day-to-day production execution and operating processes (The Operating Envelope) linking compliance, EHS, reliability, production, yield, quality, cost, and capital projects to mitigate production risks and maximize production value
• Adheres daily to established standard leader work processes per maintenance playbook including monitoring, measuring and auditing to ensure effective execution of defined daily standard work processes
• Adept at short interval controls (SIC’s) and driving quick wins to ensure accomplishment of performance goals
• Rigorously monitors, analyzes and makes visually available for the team KPI progress towards department performance goals
• Sets clear and concise performance goals aligned with the planning, performance management cycle (PPMC) for the overall team and each team member
• Effective at performance coaching and guiding team to goal accomplishment
• Supervise and conduct daily duties in accordance with ISO 9001 programs and standards

Driving a Culture of Continuous Improvement

• Drives LEAN/Six Sigma, continuous improvement of processes and operations for increased productivity and efficiency (Operational Excellence)
• Grow a culture of continuous improvement (CI) by consistently embedding CI into meetings, trainings, processes, and systems
• Ensures Maintenance work is accomplished through defined, measured, and continuously improved work processes; identifies and leverages Production best practices
