Position Summary:
SIA of NC, a subsidiary of SIA Group, is searching for an Agency Growth Coach to join its team! If you enjoy training and development, this is an opportunity for you.
The Agency Growth Coach (AGC) is directly responsible for agency development and consulting services of our partner agencies. The AGC shall work with new and existing members in growing their premiums with insurance carriers, consolidating books of business, and participation in other member services in order to increase partner agency revenue.
Essential Functions:
- Using experience, work with designated partner agencies focusing on growth and development opportunities.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the SIA of NC Independent Strategic Member (ISM) Recruitment program.
- Facilitate ISM onboarding for all new agencies on systems, processes, and services.
- Oversee implementation of the Agency Foundation Program for new start-up members.
- Work with existing members, focusing on increasing premium penetration with insurance carriers.
- Provide coaching and feedback to agencies on their prospecting and marketing plans.
- Coordinate and conduct regular visitations with partner to review sales opportunities and member services including utilization of SIAA Income Calculator.
- Be competent on the PL & CL comparative rater.
- Conduct a pre-determined amount of agency assessments per month.
- Record all ISM visits using the ADFS Call Report in CRM and track progress.
- Meeting and Webinar Participation.
- Understand the SIAA-provided computer and marketing systems to assist the ISM.
- Meet with carrier marketing reps to secure agency appointments and/or sub-codes as needed.
- Facilitate member agency and partner carrier relationships to facilitate profitable growth.
- Manage member agency books of business with partner carriers.
- Assist in recruiting new members, to include seeking referrals from current members.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four year College or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Property and casualty insurance company, wholesale insurance, and/or agency experience required.
- Property and Casualty License and Designations preferred, but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to switch between tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with independent work and leading a team remotely.
- Excellent communication skills from one-on-ones to large groups via multiple mediums.
