At Sibanye Stillwater, we're seeking a skilled Sublevel Miner to join our team. As a critical member of our underground operations, you will be responsible for heading prep, blasting, and mucking duties.
Responsibilities
- Determines the amount of explosives, placement, and firing of explosives
- Operates underground equipment (loaders, trucks, etc)
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company
To succeed in this role, you must meet and maintain qualifications for working with explosives per the Safe Explosives Act. A working knowledge of utilities, services, and ventilation is also essential.
Qualifications
- Must meet the Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for a Sublevel Miner 2
- Preferred: Mine Equipment and materials terminology and uses
