Location : Houston / Waller, TX (Onsite Only No Remote / Hybrid Option)

Duration : 6 Months Contract

Visa : Any visa except CPT / OPT (Need consultants i94, visa should be genuine)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled RPG Developer with XML, MAPICS, and Web Services expertise. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation within an IBM i (AS400) environment . Strong expertise in XML and Web Services is a MUST for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and enhance RPGIV / ILE and CLLE applications.
• Work extensively with XML processing and Web Services integration .
• Design and optimize DB2 / 400 and SQL / 400 queries , ensuring high performance and efficient data management.
• Develop and maintain programs using Embedded SQL in RPGLE, prototypes, procedures, service programs, API calls, and binding directories .
• Implement INFOR XA, INFOR OS, and INFOR ION solutions.
• Utilize iSeries IFS and connectivity to PCs / networks to support system integration.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) for Data Warehouse environments.
• Write and manage FTP control language scripts for data transfers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience :

Around 10 years of experience in RPG & CL programming .

Strong expertise in XML (MANDATORY).

Experience in Web Services development (MANDATORY).

Deep knowledge of DB2 / 400 and SQL / 400 for complex query management.

Hands-on experience with iSeries IFS and system connectivity .

Proficiency in Embedded SQL, API calls, and binding directories .

Familiarity with MAPICS (INFOR XA), INFOR OS, and INFOR ION .

Experience working with Data Warehouses and FTP control language .
