Job Brief

We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer for a part-time remote contract position (1099). This role is critical for shaping the design strategy and user experience of our innovative products. As a Senior Product Designer, you will face the challenge of translating complex user needs into intuitive and engaging design solutions. Your work will directly impact product success and customer satisfaction while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive design excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and ideation to prototyping and testing, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and implement elegant, user-centered design solutions that enhance the user experience.
• Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, validate design decisions, and continuously improve product usability.
• Establish and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistency across all products.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects across web and mobile platforms.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent, along with experience in creating responsive and adaptive designs.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
