What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner (part-time) - Fair Haven location position at Sidney-Shelby Co. YMCA?
To assist the YMCA with its customer service program by performing light maintenance and cleaning tasks on an as-needed basis. The position is designed to provide maintenance assistance in the area of cleanliness of the Fair Haven satellite center of our Child Development Center and other tasks as required. This position will work around 9 hours per week – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm and their choice of time on Saturday or Sunday for 3 hours.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Cleaning of areas as assigned at our Fair Haven satellite center of our Child Development Center.
2. Removal of trash to dumpster.
3. Sweep and mop floors.
4. Sanitize and wipe down all surfaces.
5. Fill soap dispenser and toilet paper and paper towel dispenser as needed.
6. Complete annual youth abuse prevention training and other related trainings.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Hours - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm and 3 hours on Saturday or Sunday (employee chooses time)
