The Technical Operations team at Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Staff Biochemist that will support the manufacture and improvement of our immunoassay diagnostic products. As a Staff Biochemist, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuous operation of our world-class manufacturing facility.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Staff Biochemist , you will be responsible for :

• Design of experiments (DOE) with heavy involvement in execution according to CLSI protocols and implementation according to site specific procedures

• Produce compliant documents associated with investigations, technical studies, and validation activities

• Generate protocols and lead material feasibility and characterization studies

• Serve as a technical leader and represent our team in cross-functional initiatives, while proactively keeping up to date with product and technology knowledge.

• Familiar with quality system requirements for medical devices (e.g., ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820) is preferred

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• BS with 12 years, MS with 9 years, or PhD with 6 years, in diagnostics, immunoassay, chemiluminescent technology, or medical device·

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated to adopt challenging environment with a positive, win-win attitude

• Strong work ethic with a high sense of teamwork

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills with an ability for time management

• Experience with summarizing experimental reports and formulating follow-up experiments

• Proficient at method development and process validations
