Ceramic Core Engineering Technician

Will be assisting the Product and Process Engineering Team at the Gibsonton Florida Location.

• Supporting the product & process engineering teams by, focusing primarily on inspection & finishing operations.
• Identifying improved tools & techniques for finishing and executing trials analyzing results.
• Working directly with manufacturing associates to complete trials, training and supporting front end trials as assigned by product & process engineers.
• Performing audits.
• Creating and updating work instructions.
• Reporting KPIs, audit results, department metrics, and other duties as assigned by the manager.

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting and proficiency with Office products required.
• Experience with ceramic manufacturing and statistical methods preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to deploy training, etc.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
