Responsibilities
• Set up bench and floor-mounted grinding equipment to grind and polish surfaces of turbine blades and vanes
• Manually saw and clean blades and dimensional inspect blades and vanes
• Setup box gages and straighten blades
• Read and interpret travelers/documents/blueprints to gather work instructions
Requirements
• Six months experience working in a structured production manufacturing atmosphere
• Knowledge of chemicals, grit-blasting, grinding equipment, safe machine practices and techniques is beneficial
