About the Job
We're seeking a skilled Manufacturing - Parts Straightener to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for setting up grinding equipment, manually grinding and polishing turbine blade surfaces, and ensuring high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up bench and floor-mounted grinding equipment for precision machining
- Grind and polish turbine blade surfaces to exact specifications
- Clean and inspect blades and vanes for quality control
- Operate various hand and power tools to achieve precise results
- Read and interpret documents, blueprints, and travelers to gather work instructions
Requirements
- 6 months experience in a structured production manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with chemicals, grit-blasting, and grinding equipment
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
