About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Manufacturing - Parts Straightener to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating grinding equipment, manual grinding and polishing of turbine blade surfaces, and ensuring high-quality results.
Key Tasks
- Setup grinding equipment and prepare workstations for production
- Manual grinding and polishing of turbine blade surfaces to exact specifications
- Cleaning and inspection of blades and vanes for quality control
- Operating various hand and power tools to achieve precise results
- Reading and interpreting documents, blueprints, and travelers to gather work instructions
Requirements
- 6 months experience in a structured production manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with chemicals, grit-blasting, and grinding equipment
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
