Siemens Energy is seeking a responsible, professional and self-motivated individual to fill an open position in our growing large gas turbine Customer Project Engineering (CPE) team. As an integral member of this team, candidates will interface with various Engineering and Projects disciplines to help achieve Gas Turbine (GT) performance and risk requirements working across Large Gas Turbine (LGT) product lines. This role will require candidates to participate and engage in detailed discussions with team members, manage projects, and use their intellectual capabilities to provide solutions to engineering thermal performance challenges. You will find yourself in the rewarding position of working directly on customer projects for gas turbine-based power plants across the globe.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Use of thermal performance software (GTPerform) to support ongoing bids
- Identify GT project risks/mitigations in coordination with Engineering
- Prepare Technical Line of Authority (T-LOA) to support ongoing bids
- Work closely with global Negotiation Support, COE and Performance (NCP) team to ensure a synergistic approach to support the business needs
- Proactively support Bid Management and Sales business objectives by providing technical support for all GT engine negotiations.
- Translate project specific requirements into engineered technical solutions
- Engineering degree preferably in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering
- 10 years of experience within gas turbines, turbo machinery, or power generation preferred
- Proficiency in technical writing and conducting formal presentations
- Candidate must have the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines on time
- Intercultural experience/sensitivity
- Teamwork skills: Be comfortable leading an expert team from multiple time zones and cultures to answer technical questions and to perform risk assessments.
- Networking skills: Ability to establish relationships and build networks in a global team setup and interface with other groups across the organization
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
