Siena College, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), is seeking applications for a Director of Student-Athlete Health & Performance / Head Athletic Trainer. This position will lead, manage and develop programming and strategies that attend to the overall physical well-being of Siena's student-athletes.
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to care and treatment of student-athletes, leadership of sports medicine department including health, nutrition and mental wellness; promote a holistic approach to an athlete's physical development; coordinate and manage outside resource services including doctors and insurance; liaison with campus partners; and responsible for continuous review of department safety, emergency policies and procedures. This position will also include the NCAA Athletics Health Care Administrator designation.
Annual Salary: $68,000.00-$78,000.00

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in related field, three or more years of experience in athletic training. Physical therapy credential preferred, but not required. Knowledgeable use of therapeutic modalities; emergency lifesaving skills and advanced first aid. Must have an ATC credential through National Athletic Trainers' Board of Certification. Must be eligible to be licensed in New York State. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment.
