Siena College invites applications for the position of Residence Director. We are currently searching to fill a vacancy for our 11-month Residence Director position.
The successful candidate is expected to strengthen the opportunities for intellectual and personal growth for the Siena residential community. Some of the specific responsibilities for this live-in position include:
- administration of residence halls/facilities housing 250-600 students
- selection, training and supervision of paraprofessional staff
- developing relationships with residents
- planning educational and social programs developing and enforcing policy
- adjudicating student conduct policy violations
- serving as a member of an on-call duty rotation
- participating on division and campus-wide committees
Annual salary: $46,140.00

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work a non-traditional work schedule in a team-oriented setting
- completion of a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, or related field
- previous experience in residence life, particularly as a Residence Director
