About the Job
The Vice President of Information Technology (VPIT) will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the university's mission and goals. This includes:
- Cybersecurity: Oversee the development and implementation of robust cybersecurity measures to protect institutional data and systems.
- Project Management: Lead and prioritize IT projects to improve efficiency, enhance services, and meet institutional needs.
- Personnel Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage a skilled IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Instructional Technology: Stay abreast of trends in instructional technology and collaborate with academic leadership to integrate tools that enhance teaching and learning.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
