The Restaurant FOH Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the restaurant to ensure that Restaurant reputation for an excellent dining experience never fails. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for over sight of a group or all employees within the restaurant. In addition, this role must meet or exceed the Restaurant Restaurant Manager Job Standard for Sienna Mercato.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Managing all Front of House operations during various shifts including managing wait times and communicating with kitchen during peak hours.
- Ensuring a positive guest experience from start to finish
- Possessing a strong knowledge of all restaurant operations, systems, and culture
- Recruitment and retention of qualified employees
- Providing consistent training and coaching for Front of House staff
- Creating schedules for Front of House staff
- Coordinating and communicating with other members of the management team in all areas of the restaurant
- Ensuring all food handling and cleanliness standards are met
- Counting and entering inventory
Knowledge/Skills:
- 1-2 years of restaurant management experience
- Passion for the Food and Beverage Industry
- Strong knowledge of craft beer, cocktails, and wine
- Ability to be a coach and leader to a staff of 25 people
- Experience using a P.O.S. (Aloha)
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong conflict management skills

Qualifications
- Staff training and supervision experience
- Strong background in food service and hospitality management
- Proficiency in POS systems, including Aloha and Micros
- Excellent customer service and conflict management skills
- Previous experience in restaurant management
- Knowledge of food preparation, inventory control, and cash handling
- Fine dining and casual dining experience
- Barista, bartending, and cocktail experience
- Ability to lead and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
