Trust Officer

Sierra Executive Solutions, Inc. (SES) is a 3rd party search firm recruiting for a Trust Officer, CTFA for our client Trust company in Las Vegas, NV. This is an on-site position and Nevada resident candidates will be given preference as there is no budget approved for relocation expenses at this time.

Description

The Confidential Trust Company is an innovative, fast growing, and well-funded trust and passive investment platform serving ultra-high net worth families. They seek dynamic, hardworking individuals who enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. The Trust Officer is a critical member of the elite team of professionals and will support the Chief Fiduciary Officer, Compliance Officer, and Chief Financial Officer in developing and implementing sophisticated estate planning strategies. This role in partnership with an existing peer Trust Officer, is also responsible for business development for bringing in new clients in addition to serving the company's existing client base.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with ultra-high net worth clients and their advisors to develop and implement Nevada trust and estate planning strategies.
• Effectively communicate Trust Company's value proposition to UHNW clients and their advisors.
• Provide client and partner focused service with responsiveness, professionalism, and tact.
• Implement business development strategies and efforts to obtain new clients.
• Assist in client on-boarding processes and maintain ongoing contact with clients and their advisors.
• Assist team members with fiduciary and operational items in the administration of trusts.
• Research and recommend solutions for legal and technical items related to the administration of company trusts.
• Assist the team in presenting seminars to clients and attorneys on various estate and tax planning topics.
• Participate in and represent company at conferences nationwide.
• Assist in authoring relevant white papers and other types of publications on topics related to trusts and estates.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Nevada Trust Officer managing Trusts and Estates and bringing a CFP or CTFA certification.
• Experience working directly with UHNW clients and their advisors.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated individual able to collaborate with and contribute to a strong team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Must be discreet and reliable, able to manage and protect highly confidential financial and personal information, internally and externally.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• Self-motivated individual able to pair and contribute to a strong team.
