What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Associate/Front Desk position at Sierra Fitness?
Sierra Fitness is hiring part-time and full-time front desk associates. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Please note that you will not be considered for the position if you cannot work weekday evenings and/or weekends.
Sierra Fitness has been leading the way in personal training since 1994. Our programs have brought clients and trainers from across Los Angeles to the town of Sierra Madre. We pride ourselves on providing high quality service and are engaged with our clients and their specific fitness needs.
As a full service fitness gym, Sierra Fitness offers a wide variety of fitness training services—fun, energetic group classes, personalized fitness plans and packages, and an assortment of equipment and machines for group or individual training. We are more than just a gym, we are a community.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Answering clients questions
- Keep reception are and gym clean and tidy
- Booking and scheduling classes and appointments
- Light cleaning and laundry
- Selling training packages and memberships
- Assisting trainers and instructors with their clients and schedules
Requirements and skills:
- Prior experience in customer service
- Proficiency in online scheduling systems
- Solid verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of gym equipment
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills
