Requirements
As a Behavioral Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients on their journey toward recovery and self-sufficiency. We are looking for compassionate, patient, and dedicated individuals to join our team and help us create a positive and nurturing environment for those in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Manage the care of up to six patients at a time, ensuring their safety, well-being, and respect.
- Assist with Daily Activities: Support patients in daily activities, including personal care, hygiene, and other tasks that promote independence.
- Ensure a Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain a clean, sanitized space that promotes the health and safety of all patients.
- Track and Report Progress: Document and communicate patients’ progress and any changes to their needs to the care team.
- Behavioral Support: Engage with patients, providing support and encouragement to positively influence behavior and foster growth.
- Follow Protocols: Adhere to established protocols to address patient needs effectively and contribute to a seamless care process.
What We’re Looking For:
- MUST be available for NOC shifts (10:00pm-6:30am) or PM shifts (2pm-10:30pm)
- Experienced: At least 1 year of experience in a mental health or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Certified: Current CPR certification or ability to obtain one.
- Compassionate: You should be calm, compassionate, and able to handle stressful situations with professionalism and care.
- Proactive: Initiative and sound judgment in a variety of situations are key to success in this role.
- Clearances: Valid driver’s license, and criminal record clearance are required for this role.
