Responsibilities
The incumbent, as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, provides the following services to patientsand/or families: psychosocial assessment,crisis intervention, counseling, exploration of effective coping skills, crisis intervention, education, and coordination of the patients progress through the continuum of care. In addition, the incumbent provides education, consultation and support to hospital staff.

Qualifications
Required:
- At least one year of clinical and/or medical social work experience required
- Master's Degree from a School of Social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education
Special Skills:
Knowledge of contemporary behavioral and systems theories relevant to health care; end-of-life dynamics and interventions; grief and bereavement counseling; substance abuse identification and interventions; support for victims of abuse, neglect or violence; community or financial resources for underserved or vulnerable populations. SSDI, SDI, and other governmental/county requirements/programs. Thorough comprehension of OBRA and Title 22 is required in California. Pay Range
$40.66 - $58.96 /hour
Salary : $41 - $59
