Sierra School Equipment Company (SSEC) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Account Manager to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in building and nurturing relationships within our markets while delivering outstanding customer service, high-quality products, and precise installation services.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SALES :
Establish and maintain strong relationships in your territory.
Identify and qualify new leads, while prioritizing high-impact opportunities.
Collaborate with Customers, Architects, Consultants, Designers, and more to position SSEC as the primary furniture provider.
Develop and execute strategic sales action plans.
Present a comprehensive overview of our product offerings with confidence.
Deliver impactful verbal and written presentations to prospective clients.
Provide timely and detailed quotes for clients and prospects.
Negotiate sales terms and product specifications to meet client needs.
Document follow-up actions, as they are critical to the sales process.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT :
Maintain clear and frequent communication with customers throughout their buying journey.
Collaborate closely with internal team members and external partners to ensure a seamless project experience.
Assist in accurate ordering and timely receipt of products and services.
Master our product line and processes to drive results.
Coordinate with team members, vendors, and customers for timely and precise installations.
Gain a foundational understanding of applicable Labor Regulations.
Conduct job site visits as necessary, including field measurements and ensuring successful installations.
OTHER :
Participate in sales meetings as needed to enhance collaboration.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Associate Degree from a Community College (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and familiar with database management systems.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a strong people-oriented mindset.
Willingness to travel as required.
Self-starter with motivation and practical judgment.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Must successfully pass a background check with the state for work at school sites.
