Get to Know This Role
The Regional Distributor and Sales Service Representative is the primary point of contact and customer advocate for our salesforce and distributor partners. This role is expected to provide the highest level of service, by focusing on specific Sales Region to identify, anticipate, and address their unique needs regarding orders, shipments, and product inventory. This role requires constant collaboration with various departments throughout Sierra Nevada Brewing to ensure distribution partner needs are met consistently and effectively.


 Please note:  This is a Hybrid position that requires you to work onsite in Chico, CA or Mills River, NC

What You Will Do
  • Cultivates strong working relationships with distributor Supply Chain and Operation teams to promote ‘share of mind’ and ‘share of heart’ philosophy.
  • Coordinates between distributor partners and Sierra Nevada Supply Chain teams to ensure proper inventory targets are met and maintained, providing order guidance to distributor teams to ensure alignment with inventory targets with the goal of keeping the freshest product in the market.
  • Where mutually beneficial, assume distributor order and inventory management processes in an effort to improve service and effectiveness and lower cost to serve.
  • Lead monthly distributor operational meetings reviewing forecasts, inventory targets, additional opportunities and address any service related concerns.
  • Provide Distributor and Sales Support Regional Leaders with a monthly report detailing top 10 regional distributor key performance measures including but not limited to, shipments versus forecast, inventory status, inventory and aging report, quality concerns
  • Collaborates with Sales & National Accounts Managers to determine inventory needs and ensure appropriate supply is available for execution of chain mandates
  • Internal Advocate for customer(distributor) needs to ensure timeliness & accuracy of deliveries – ensure regional voice of the customer is represented and heard as supply decisions are being made
  • Coordinate with logistics team to ensure proper load utilization and maximum freight efficiency
  • Travels within assigned sales region to build and maintain relationships with Sales and Distributior teams, participate in Supplier Business Reviews (SBR) as appropriate
     


 

Please Apply if You Have
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration preferred or
  • Related discipline required or any combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved required
  • 2 years Customer Service, Inventory Planning & Control, Sales & Operations Planning, Distribution requirements Planning (DRP) or role preferred 
  • 1 year Proficiency in Microsoft software including but not limited to Teams, Excel, Word, Powerpoint required 
  • 1 year CPG Customer Service preferred 
  • Strong customer orientation with ability to engage with distributors Supply Chain and Operational leaders
  • Strong communication skills: interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills for both internal and external purposes
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to utilize and integrate data from various sources, accurately interpret data, and appropriately apply findings to business issues
  • High degree of learning agility with ability to rapidly develop continuous improvement expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships and cross-functional business partnerships
