The employee shall provide Division strategic engagement lead support to the Human Effectiveness Directorate, Air & Space Biosciences Division (711 HPW/RHB). The Air & Space Biosciences Division has a mission focused on "Discover, demonstrate, and transition biomedical and biotechnology capabilities to enable, enhance, sustain, and restore the health and performance of Airmen and Guardians." The division's branches provide research and consultative capability on health and performance-related Product Development, Biotechnology, Performance Optimization, and Biomedical Impact of Flight.

Essential Job Functions
- Plan, manage, and conduct tours of 711 HPW/RHB facilities and RHB-hosted events while maintaining a professional appearance (i.e. business attire and grooming).
- Assist with scheduling Division level events such as All Calls and morale events, sending executive messaging, and managing the Division strategic/operational calendar.
- Communicate to division leadership on which offices and subject matter experts are necessary, based on the tour request.
- Ensure that the tasker system is tracking the tour/event and pertinent details.
- Support development of professional materials including slides, brochures, videos, and other advertising materials to highlight the mission for visitors.
- Handle necessary logistical matters to including providing maps and instructions to guide visitors to division facilities.
- Track tour data and report back to division leadership at least quarterly.
- Ensure that tour members are properly vetted through security processes to avoid inappropriate disclosure of technical information.
- Ensure all materials and tour stops are approved from a security standpoint for tour visitors.
- Support additional duties as needed for tours of 711 HPW/RHB facilities and RHB-hosted events.
Minimum Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a science/technology/engineering/mathematics (STEM) discipline, communications, or journalism with at least three (3) years' work experience in one of those fields or 7 years equivalent experience with no degree.
- Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills, including writing ability.
- Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Documented experience in planning and hosting large events.
- Documented experience in public speaking.
- Proficient at quickly understanding complex topics, then communicating to visitors in terms understandable to them.
- Strong attention-to-detail.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Proficient at speaking in front of large groups.
- Ability to lead/facilitate conversations and answer questions.
- Ability to work independently under time constraints.
- Possess a professional appearance (i.e., business attire and grooming).
- Have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager by start of performance.
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain.
- Background in Public Affairs or Public Relations professions.
- Experience in project management and planning and operations.
- Experience working with the Military/Government (DoD).
- Medical Science research background preferred.
