Project Manager
The Project Manager has a significant impact on the organization by working across departments to ensure that projects are completed successfully, which contributes to the overall business objectives and strategic goals. This role directly affects the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the organization. The main focus of the Project Manager is to lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring that project goals are achieved, and that the project delivers the expected outcomes. These outcomes include delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget.
- Coordinate interdepartmental internal resources and establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors to execute projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks; troubleshoot challenges, report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel- 25%-35%
You bring these skills, experience & education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in related field is desirable
- 3-5 years’ experience in project management
- PMP, PgMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
- Demonstrated project management skills in prior work experience.
