- $115,000 - $125,000 annually/DOE
The Inside Sales Rep will drive growth and help to improve estimating and sales processes across the team. This person will be responsible for working closely with the project management team to keep management and customers updated on the project status.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
- Support estimating and sales efforts to drive growth within the company
- Improve and streamline estimating and sales processes across the team
- Collaborate with management to achieve set company growth goals
- Make key decisions impacting project profitability (P&L)
- Ensure accurate and timely communication of project information to the manufacturing floor
- Work closely with the project management team to provide updates to both management and customers on project status
- Utilize AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (Inventor or Solidworks) to support project planning and execution
- Leverage experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software as a valuable asset in project execution
- Travel around the Portland metro area
- Perform other assigned duties
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred but not required with substantial relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and sales in the heavy industrial manufacturing space.
- Must have a solid understanding of machining, fabrication, and mechanical processes
- Must have the ability to read and understand detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Must be reliable, punctual, organized, and have solid interpersonal communication skills
- Must be comfortable interfacing directly with customers and able to effectively communicate in either written or verbal form
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company’s vehicle insurance policy
- Ability to pass drug test and background checks upon acceptance of an offer.
