PRODUCTION POSITIONS
We have a variety of positions open at each of our Oklahoma locations! Please find a list of a few production based positions below and their general tasks. Many will offer rotation potential as well!
Packer
- Inserts packages correctly into boxes
- Ensure that the packages meet quality requirements
Palletizer
- Lift boxes and stack on a pallet
- Stack product to plant standards
- Lifting/Pulling/Pushing over 40 lbs.
Pocket filter
- Place product into packages
- Weigh and stack product to plant standards
Injector operator
- knowledge of all ham muscles and what product they are used in, perform needle checks, keep correct ID Cards on injected muscles
- Fully understand how to fill out injector sheet, insure muscles are fully thawed before injecting
- lockout/tagout
- Certified, pallet jack/forklift
- certified, turn all paperwork into team leader at shift change
- willing to rotate jobs
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of 10 - 30 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
