ECU/HVAC and Generator Field Support Rep

Job Description:

Sigmatech, Inc. is actively seeking qualified Generator and Environmental Control Unit (ECU)/Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ECUs and generators integral to GSE systems operations. Ideal candidates must be available for extended periods of travel when required and demonstrate a cooperative spirit, possess a determined work ethic, and exhibit strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively perform in dynamic environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Environmental Control Units (ECUs) and generators.
• Interpretation of schematic diagrams and blueprints.
• Installation, repair, and maintenance of generators (ranging from 3kW to 100kW, 50Hz, 60Hz, and 400Hz).
• Maintenance and repair of both mobile and fixed communication ECUs.
• Installation and servicing of commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC and electrical systems, including energy management systems, control wiring, high and low voltage wiring, and service upgrades for single-phase and three-phase systems.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Minimum of one (1) year of direct HVAC and generator experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively interact with diverse internal and external teams.
• Ability to operate effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 25% of the year.
  
  

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Valid U.S. passport preferred.

Educational Requirements:

• Preferred Associates degree in HVAC/Generator field or a two-year technical diploma.
• Alternatively, eleven (11) years of specialized experience in lieu of formal education.
  
  

Certification Requirements:

• HVAC Certification is mandatory.
